Their captivating insights are set forth below: &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-text-color has-background has-vivid-red-background-color at-core-top\">\u201c<em>At CORE I arrived to a point where I could turn my will and life over to the care of God, instead of running the show myself.\u00a0 There\u2019s also accountability here and other options that will help with recovery<\/em>.\u201d\u00a0<br>\u2013 Neil \u201cDuck Daddy\u201d Finley (Duck House)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"at-core-right\">\u201c<em>God uses CORE to bring people together in one house, one class, and one building, who normally wouldn\u2019t mix.\u00a0 We all mesh because we have a common understanding.\u00a0 We want a different life.\u00a0 We want to live<\/em>.\u201d\u00a0<br>\u2013 Mykaella Ross (JJ House)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-text-color has-background has-vivid-red-background-color at-core-left\">\u00a0\u201c<em>There\u2019s structure here upon which to create a solid foundation from scratch.\u00a0 It\u2019s a start and a base, and a place to gain some kind of grounding.\u00a0 It\u2019s a center for faith, too, something to hold on to while you\u2019re growing into recovery and giving it a shot.\u00a0 I\u2019ve seen many miracles here<\/em>.\u201d<br> \u2013 Joe Redl (Cardinal House)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"at-core-right\">\u201c<em>My journey to CORE was the path back to God.\u00a0 That\u2019s the best and most important thing, finding my way back to God<\/em>.\u201d<br>\u2013 Jen Brinkmann (Quail House)\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-text-color has-background has-vivid-red-background-color at-core-left\">\u201c<em>If you follow the clear-cut, precise directions of the Big Book, at CORE you build a relationship with God that allows you to recover.\u00a0 It\u2019s here where we learn how to step out of self and give back even though we spent all our lives just taking.\u00a0 We learn what it\u2019s like having that blessing at the end of the day, knowing we helped somebody without wanting anything in return<\/em>.\u201d\u00a0<br>\u2013 James Favor (Seahawk House)\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"at-core-right\">\u201c<em>There are so many things, but one is the change of lifestyle.\u00a0 CORE provides a safe, drug-free, and drama-free environment in which to make the changes we wanted by moving here.\u00a0 It\u2019s the right setting to build a new life in<\/em>.\u201d\u00a0<br>\u2013 Mikayla Brillos (Outdoor House)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-text-color has-background has-vivid-red-background-color at-core-left\">\u201c<em>Learning patience.\u00a0 Initially I was going to leave after my year was up, but I received counsel from Kevin Hunt and began learning patience, about receiving the things hoped for when we wait.\u00a0 By being grounded, working on myself, and practicing patience, things started happening.\u00a0 I didn\u2019t jump the gun just because I was feeling better, and good things came to me.\u00a0 Patience probably kept me from getting \u2018hit in the face\u2019 because I wasn\u2019t really prepared, too<\/em>.\u201d\u00a0<br>\u2013 Scott Bourbon (Bird House)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"at-core-right\">\u201c<em>CORE is where I was introduced to God as my Higher Power.\u00a0 It is a completely judgment-free zone where I could turn my life around with the 12 Steps<\/em>.\u201d\u00a0<br>\u2013 Alicia Short (Vaughn House)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-text-color has-background has-vivid-red-background-color at-core-left\">\u201c<em>Finding purpose in life, and truly knowing what it feels like to have peace and contentment.\u00a0 Even before I started using drugs, I was never truly happy.\u00a0 I was always trying to find the next thing to make me happy.\u00a0 I didn\u2019t understand what it meant to have a relationship with God.\u00a0 I know what that is now.\u00a0 I know what it means to have peace and what it means to know God<\/em>.\u201d<br>\u2013 Blake Wilson (Pelican House)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"at-core-right\">\u201c<em>I was so emotionally detached when I first got here.&nbsp; CORE gave me a human connection where I could allow myself to love others and let them love me.&nbsp; That\u2019s how I learned to love myself, which I had to do before I could go on to learn anything else.&nbsp; It was the first thing that started the \u2018psychic change\u2019 and led to all my spiritual growth<\/em>.\u201d&nbsp; \u2013 Brittany Breunig (6th Street House)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-text-color has-background has-vivid-red-background-color at-core-left\">\u201c<em>It\u2019s the mutual trust and friendship here, the camaraderie.\u00a0 Everyone here shares the same problem.\u00a0 We\u2019re going through the same thing and trying to do the same thing, which is recover.\u00a0 So our community is the best thing, in my opinion \u2013 the \u2018C\u2019 in CORE.<\/em>\u201d\u00a0<br>\u2013 Dylan Butler (Falcon House)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"at-core-right\">\u201c<em>The fellowship has become \u2018family.\u2019\u00a0 If I really needed something, there might be 200 people here who would come to my assistance at the drop of a hat, without even thinking about it or asking what they\u2019ll get in return.\u00a0 That\u2019s family<\/em>.\u201d\u00a0<br>\u2013 Kim Stewart (Swan House)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-text-color has-background has-vivid-red-background-color at-core-left\">\u201c<em>Everyone who\u2019s a house manager or works here has already been through the program.\u00a0 When I first got here, I knew that they had all been where I was.\u00a0 By following their example and suggestions I was able to build a relationship with God and Jesus Christ<\/em>.\u201d\u00a0<br>\u2013 Mitchell Brooks (Sparrow House)\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"at-core-right\">\u201c<em>Finding a relationship with God.\u00a0 CORE is where I found it, through the 12 Steps<\/em>.\u201d<br>\u2013 Bracy Sams (Hawkeye House)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-text-color has-background has-vivid-red-background-color at-core-left\">\u201c<em>I love the fellowship here, welcoming the newcomer, socializing with the women, and helping them.\u00a0 Spirituality plays a big role in our program here, too.\u00a0 It\u2019s really the foundation of our recovery program, and leading by example helps build that<\/em>.\u201d<br>\u2013 Tamara Spencer (Quail House)\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"at-core-right\">\u201c<em>It\u2019s a safe place to come find recovery, but even more, CORE gives you the opportunity to pass on what is given to you.\u00a0 At so many places you come, you get, and you go.\u00a0 Not here.\u00a0 You\u2019re not a product of CORE; you become part of CORE.\u00a0 Now you are in a position to help others, to teach, and to carry a message of hope<\/em>.\u201d\u00a0<br>\u2013 Marty Neal (Raven House)\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"color:#ffffff\" class=\"has-text-color has-background has-vivid-red-background-color at-core-left\">\u201c<em>CORE redirected my life.\u00a0 If you knew me before CORE, I\u2019d been a drug addict forever, was fresh out of jail, and just lost.\u00a0 No communication with my family;
