{"id":1842,"date":"2022-09-30T16:38:04","date_gmt":"2022-09-30T16:38:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/core-usa.org\/?p=1842"},"modified":"2022-09-30T16:38:05","modified_gmt":"2022-09-30T16:38:05","slug":"children-putt-for-prizes-at-the-recovery-jamboree","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/core-usa.org\/index.php\/2022\/09\/30\/children-putt-for-prizes-at-the-recovery-jamboree\/","title":{"rendered":"Children Putt for Prizes at the Recovery Jamboree"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Children Putt for Prizes at the Recovery Jamboree<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On September 10<sup>th<\/sup>, the golf world was stunned by the perfect putting performances of over fifty children in Branson, Missouri!&nbsp; This amazing occurrence happened at CORE\u2019s Golf Challenge, which was part of <em>Recovery Jamboree 2022<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <em>Recovery Jamboree<\/em> is sponsored annually by the Missouri Coalition of Recovery Support Providers (MoCRSP).&nbsp; The recovery community and their families come together to celebrate and have fun.&nbsp; This year, the festival took place on the grounds of <em>Sanctuary of Hope<\/em>, on Bee Creek Road.&nbsp; The participating agencies offered fun activities, food, and resources.&nbsp; CORE played its part with the Golf Challenge for youngsters, and the results exceeded all of our expectations. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"674\" src=\"https:\/\/core-usa.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/CORE_OctoberNews_Kids-1024x674.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1843\" srcset=\"https:\/\/core-usa.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/CORE_OctoberNews_Kids-1024x674.png 1024w, https:\/\/core-usa.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/CORE_OctoberNews_Kids-300x198.png 300w, https:\/\/core-usa.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/CORE_OctoberNews_Kids.png 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Child after child sank putts to win awesome prizes.&nbsp; From the looks of determination in their eyes, it was clear these children would not be denied.&nbsp; Everybody who played \u2013 more than fifty children &#8212; successfully putted a colorful and squishy golf ball right into the hole! &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Several designated CORE representatives were in attendance: Jen Brinkman, Dallas Conaway, and Bracy Sams.\u00a0 While the kids played golf, these representatives talked to the adults about recovery issues.\u00a0 \u201cIt was great to see all the local providers together,\u201d remarked Jen.\u00a0 She added, \u201cI\u2019m glad the kids had so much fun!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CORE sends a big \u201cthank you!\u201d to MoCRSP for inviting us to participate in this event.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Children Putt for Prizes at the Recovery Jamboree On September 10th, the golf world was stunned by the perfect putting performances of over fifty children in Branson, Missouri!&nbsp; This amazing occurrence happened at CORE\u2019s Golf Challenge, which was part of Recovery Jamboree 2022.
